Go horseback riding through the valleys, forests and mountains of Tierra del Fuego
Explore the natural beauty of the island of Tierra del Fuego on horseback. In the centre of the island, ride through a landscape of gentle plains between the steppe and the mountain range. Get to the heart of Corazón de la Isla Provincial Reserve and reach Negra Lagoon and Fagnano Lake.
To the north, you will find the sea and the trails will lead you to historic estates or remote spots such as the Mitre Peninsula or the Bridges mountain pass, which connects the northern coast of the Beagle Channel with Fagnano Lake. To the south, the trails stretch through the valley of the Pipo River, the slope of Susana Mountain and around Escondido Lake, with dream panoramic views of the forest and mountains of Tierra del Fuego.
Where: There are various low-difficulty circuits near the cities of Ushuaia, Tolhuin or Río Grande, and expeditions of several days for experienced hikers. Check availability with local operators and agencies.
