Find the Wild Side of Buenos Aires
There is no need to get away from the city in order to enjoy nature. The center of Buenos Aires is home to the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, a 350-hectare green space with trails for walking or cycling, viewpoints in the shade of cockspur coral trees and sweeping views of the La Plata River. This is a great haven to spend the day away from the city buzz and discover a wide variety of birds and turtles, coypus and lizards. You can also visit the Lugano Lake and Costanera Norte reserves.
In Campana, an hour away from Buenos Aires, Ciervo de los Pantanos National Park is waiting for you to experience another getaway to nature. This is an ideal place to spend the day, have a picnic, take short hikes and if you go by car, get to the Paraná de las Palmas River.
Where: in Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve (City of Buenos Aires) and Ciervo de los Pantanos National Park (Campana, Buenos Aires)
When: all year round
