Cuesta de Miranda (RN 40)
La Rioja
You will not believe your eyes. Why? Because this route goes through rock formations of millions of years ago, because there are countless red and green tones, because there are cliffs, canyons, giant cacti, curves, slopes and rock-walls carved by the wind and water, and because you will not be able to see the horizon in a straight line, but through undulating and uneven ground.
This scenic road extends between Villa Unión and Chilecito. The Miranda River accompanies every kilometre like a guide setting the pace for a trip that has to be done slowly: admire the surrounding nature, stopover at the 2000 MLS viewpoint and spot in the distance the extraordinary Talampaya Canyon, look at the sky and be amazed by the condors overflying the area. Don't even doubt it, this is one of the most beautiful slopes in our country.
